Komeil Asli

I design and then build them.

How I work

Design and build are one job, not two.

I run the full process in Figma, from research and interviews through information architecture, UI and a documented design system. Then I build it in production code. Nothing is drawn to be handed off and quietly lost. The person who made the design decision is the person who ships it.

What I'm unusually good at

Holding a design system together across many surfaces at once, including inside vendor and CMS environments I can't change. Most designers lose consistency the moment they're pushed into someone else's constrained system. I keep it coherent anyway.

Komeil Asli, frontend developer and UX/UI designer

About

A designer who ships code, and a developer who runs the research.

I'm Komeil Asli, based in Västerås, Sweden. I've been designing and building on the web since 2012, from a telecom R&D team to agency work to my own client projects now. The through-line is that I don't stop at the Figma file. I build what I design and take responsibility for how it performs in production.

A hiring manager on the frontend side and a design lead should both find what they came for here, and then see that I do the other half too.
